Firearms confiscation in Quartzsite, AZ....

Post by Texas Dan Mosby »

Wow.

Just.....

Wow.

Apparently Quartzsite, AZ is the home of a top-secret U.S. government test on the feasibility and effectiveness of developing and releasing crazy pillstm into a public water supply. Sure, it seems strange and far fetched, however, I can draw no other logical conclusion of why the local government and LEO organization have adopted obviously insane courses of action in the performance of their duties to their fellow citizens.

From missing town funds, "secret" meetings, unlawfully using sworn LEO's for personal political gain, false arrests, and confiscation of arms, this town has apparently performed EVERY ridiculously cliched villainous act one would ever expect to find in the worst "made for TV" low-budget movie revolving around a fictitious "town gone bad".

While I am not surprised, I find this very disturbing, and can't help but wonder how many other "Quartzsites" exist throughout our nation? When we, as a society and a nation, can't find and elect enough people with honor and integrity to govern a small town, what hope do we have of maintaining a just government at the federal level?

Unlike Quartzsite, with only 14 sworn officers capable of enforcing its unjust laws, our federal government has THOUSANDS of armed enforcers that can be employed for unconstitutional purposes, and that doesn't even include the military.

Sorry state of affairs indeed.

Edit: Here's a link that details some of the madness...

Quartzite is a recognized mecca for RV snowbirds, especially those who ride ATVs. The town's economy thrives on the influx of Winter visitors. There is very little there during the very hot summer months. Maybe the heat has overtake the few residents that are left there.

I would guess that there have always been cases where local governments have become the tool for corrupt politicians (Chicago anyone?) If AZ weren't so heavily immersed in border problems, the Governor would probably act to restore the rights of the citizens there and bust the corrupt, money grabbing politicians. If CA could do that to when of their towns, AZ can easily do it with one of their own.

I've believed for years that there was crazy juice in the water in CA. Maybe it cross-contaminated that aquifer that feeds Quartzite.

There are going to be failures like this even when a system works well. What's alarming here is the systemic failure to correct it. The entire country is undergoing a creeping failure.
