A Great Christmas Present...

Post by Reysc »

Well it started this way.. I saw an ad for a .22 that I like and did the usual email " I'll take it FTF at my place of work and I'm buying lunch/dinner ". Seller shows up and I he was w/ Justin ( Carson 1's son) and he's also Carlson 1's friend and of course, a pastor!! What a small world, I said!! Anyway, I inspected the gun and I liked it.. Pulled out the money to pay Robin ( the seller) when he stopped me and said " No keep the money, we want you to have the gun".. Needless to say, I was speechless!!!  .. I must have done something good in my previous life to deserve this!! Anyway, just another testimonial on the quality of people that hangs arounnd in this site!! Thank you again Robin, Justin and Carlson 1!! The biggest thanks goes to our host Charles Cotton !! Thank you sir, for bringing all of us together!! Merry Christmas to all !!

Wow, that is awesome. Most people are good and I feel that maybe we tend to forget that on this forum while discussing other situations that our lives depend on. I know this goes without saying and you don't need any advice.....but it would be a shame to let this gift end on that note. Take the money that you were going to spend on that .22 and leave it for a waiter or hand it to the toll booth worker and drive away. I agree that the folks here are top notch..I am proud to call you my friends. This is going to be an awesome Christmas!

Rey,
My son, Justin (from Tyler - He forgives you) enjoyed the tickets to the game. Thanks for giving him some special attention. Robin is a dear friend and a special help to my family. God is good to all us.

I am not surprised at how far and wide this forum has extended its influence...

We get serious when we need to, and have fun with the rest...

Obviously I need a hobby, but thats beside the point...
