A 3 incher followed me home

Post by Seabear »

I have been going back and forth (as some of you know) between several models, then I narrowed it down to The Ultra Stanless II. Then I had to choose between a new one and two used ones. I ended up with a used one from my local GS I like doing business with them when I can especially since they book students for me. So bad phone pic and all, here she is.

Ps have cleaned it, but will have to wait till tomorrow for some range time. Thanks to all of you that had some input. :cheers2:

Congrats Seabear, hope you enjoy it for many years. I think you will be surprised at how well the 3" handles.

Thanks, not sure I care for the grips, but I'll know more tomorrow. Can't wait. LOL This is my Christmas present to me. I got it early, don't tell my wife. :coolgleamA:

Thanks. Yep easy switch. :iagree: I think I will look for a slim and smooth wood grip, I think that will work easier with concealed carry, rubber tends to be sticky against shirt fabric, and make it ride up. I will see how it shoots with these grips first . It's been riding in a IWB Galco imitation of a Crossbreed all afternoon around the house just for a trial run.

What did you wind up paying for it, if you don't mind my asking?

Too dang much. couldn't get it for less than $700. The New one was $825, and the other used one in town wanted $775. "rlol"

I started just to buy new, but I felt like I could save a few coins and still do business with my local GS. They made me a lot of money this past year, of course, I bought 3 guns from them too. LOL Oh and I swapped a nother gun for a guided fishing trip too. So 4 guns. I need help.... :headscratch

After thinking about all I have picked up this year, I am feeling guilty. Maybe I need to let a couple go to make more room.

Seeing all of the Kimbers being added lately has me wanting to move a 1911 up a few spots on my gun list.
Nice piece Seabear!

Actually I was going to ask for one but I thought that might tip her off to my problem. LOL

I fiugre if I only let her see one at a time she won't really know how many there are. See? These three are like one. Do we see a pattern starting? (continueing)
