Case is hard plastic with removeable foam top. Includes lock, pistol, 2 mags, barrel flag, manual and some misc papers. I stuck the bullets in there.

Opened the case and oiled everything well per the manual then started loading bullets, a lot of them as each mag holds 30. I could only get 29 in each one so I am hoping that is a break in issue but if not then no big deal. Set up targets at 25 yds then loaded the first mag. Slide operates easily, no excessive spring pressure. Safety operates like a conventional 1911, down for go, up for no. Safety is ambi but slide release is not. I guess you could call the mag release ambi, it is middle on bottom.
2 shots about 1" below POA and less than 1" slightly right, not bad. ooops, 3 rd didnt load. Manual states you have to load the mags in a very specific way and they mean it. I could not even load by manually racking. I failed to tap the back every 5th round so they were not aligned right. Start unloading.. a lot of rounds, in 2 mags. 15 minutes later I have them reloaded per instructions and they work flawlessly. Recoil is minimal, especially to the 4" 1911 I am used to. Was shooting freehand and kept groups fairly tight using Winchester 22WMR rounds.
The trigger is spongy to me, being used to SA autos but not unbearable. The little triangle on the back of the trigger is the stop so Iguess that could be messed with to adjust overtravel if you are handy working with plastic.
The sights are fiber optics that are nice and bright, easy to pick up in the daylight. rear notch is very wide, lots of daylight on either side.
The pistol would make a decent carry piece as the upper is fairly small but the mag does get a bit fat on the backside. The rounds are doublestacked and slightly angeld in towards the front giving the grip a weird triangle shape. I know .22 is a bit small but having 31 on tap makes for a lot of small holes that can be spread around if needed. I did rapid fire a full mag with no issues creating a 16" pattern (intentionally) on a standard IDPA silhouette. That is bound to hurt a BG!
Being a 1911 guy the mag release was hard to work. You press inward on the heal to drop free, and both did drop free loaded and empty. There is a rail for lights, lasers, bayonets, bipod, lug wrench, coffee warmer, whatever if needed with standard picattinny railing.
Overall IMO it is a nice pistol for plinking or small varmint/rodent hunting but might be less than ideal for home/car defense. My daughter enjoyed shooting it as recoil is minimal.
