im thinking about tackling one of the projects for fun , i know what it entails , pressing barrells/ trunnion some spot welding ...the only thing i have never ever done is brazing or silvering a sight on ......i think i can accomplish what i want eventually, but a good gunsmith in the event i get angry and want to smash it to bits
mp5 /mp5pk build ?? anyone done one ?

anyone have experience with building a hk type rifle/pistol ? or does anyone know of any houston area gunsmith thats savy with tig welding / ground up builds ?

I tried doing some brazing of steel before, and just wasn't very good at it...someone else told me the secret was LOTS of flux...if I ever try it again, you can bet I'm going to try their advice.

There's a guy in OK [Ghilliebear2000] that's a prolific builder (his FT job I believe).
Lots of friendly advice to be found on this subject. Not sure about any HOU builders, never checked.
