Look, I don't agree with his actions, but I would also plead the 5th on principle.
Remember, in all too many cases a person winds up not being charged with any original crime, but they get convicted of making false statements. That is what happened to both "Scooter" Libby, Dick Cheney's assistant as well as Martha Stewart. In both cases, had they simply kept their mouth shut, they would not have spent any gray bar hotel time.

Now, a smart prosecutor would give him immunity to force him to testify and use his testimony to bag people higher up the food chain. But that won't happen in this administration.
