Whatever happened to "be sure of your target?" Unless that's his story and he's sticking to it. Too many husband/wife shooting wife/husband mistakenly stories for all to be what they say.

I guess it shouldn't be a surprise, but I'm always amused when the Brit tabloids find something that offends their sensibilities, or makes the US look bad. You never see a "good" story about the use of a firearm to protect a family, a "good" shoot of a burglar in the house, a "good" story regarding guns used in competition (they even made fun of the British Olympic team for participating in the shooting sports). And the Daily Mail is one of the worst. Wanna see what kind of paper it is? Just look at a few of the editions online: http://www.dailymail.co.uk

Warning: that link is most definitely NSFW! But remember, it IS a daily newspaper in the UK.

Okay, I understand the whole Brit thing about being a docile little lamb and letting yourself get beaten down by thugs so as to not disturb the societal order and all (actually, no I don't but for the sake of argument)...but they actually MADE FUN OF THE OLYMPIC TEAM? I'm flabbergasted...there is something WRONG with those people, very very WRONG.

What I found the scariest about this story... The kids were playing outside!!!

First, I'd he's that "on edge" about a killer in the area, why were his kids playing outside alone?!?

Second, it could have just as easily been one of the kids coming in the house! :banghead:
