Sig 2022 Paddle Holster ??

Post by StewNTexas »

My 'new' Sig 2022 should arrive within the next 5 days. Now what to do with it. I would like some info from anyone that has experience with a paddle holster for this model/size pistol. Things like: Where to get one. Brands you have experience with. Problems you have had with them. Any other information you may have such as model numbers, etc.

Thanks...
If the 2nd admendment only applies to muskets and muzzle-loaders, then the 1st admentment must apply only to the spoken or printed word. Printing must be done on hand presses, news stories must be written in longhand, no keyboards or electric processes may be used.

Fobus seems to make one, Model number SP11B, that looks like it's around $30 bucks direct from Fobus. I found a video review for it on Youtube, but the guy seemed to not have the holster retention screw properly adjust, and thus he didn't like it. I also think they make another version that fully encloses the slide, and there are also Roto versions of the holster available.

Also, Shielded Holsters also seems to offer all of their holsters for the SP2022. I own a Double Phalanx model for my Glock 17 and I'm in love with it. It's comfortable and the holster just disappears under a cover garment. It's not a fancy leather holster, but it is rugged and reliable and gets the job done very nicely without breaking the bank. His prices are seriously awesome, as the Double Phalanx is $50 shipped, and the most expensive holster he sells is the OWB Adarga at $60 bucks.

I should note that I don't own a 2022 (but want to get one eventually) and thus don't have any first hand experience with any holsters for it.
