Heavy Trigger Pull, Walther P22
I have had a Walther P22 (.22 LR) pistol for some time now. Its only been to the range a couple of times. It fits my hand well, its easy to clean, it seems to feed and eject well. But the trigger pull is terrible. About 12 pounds in DA. The SA is a little less than 5 lbs. Is there anything I can do to lighten the trigger pull up, say to about 8 lbs? I want to like this pistol, but with that trigger pull, it sure is hard to do.

I have a p22, and I found it difficult to be in DA with the gun at the range. You have to have a round chambered, which means you racked the slide, which means the hammer is back. I thought the heavier DA trigger pull would bother me, since I just use it to shoot targets, but its such a rare occasion to be in DA, and I am fine with the SA trigger pull.
Mine was picky on ammo though, I had the short barrel initially and it really only like the CCI mini mags. I got the target barrel a couple of months ago, and now it will eat anything.
