lol. I know the feeling. Just getting ready for the longest wait of your adult life. That is what we are here for. Take some time and read as much as you can. It helps the time to pass.brainman wrote:Mailed my stuff on Friday. Don't want to wait......

Well thanks, guys. My wife's laughing at me cause I've been wearing the pistola around the house in anticipation. I call it practice, she calls it crazy.
Re: waiting...waiting...waiting...
Welcome to the waiting game. I'd spend some time reviewing the CHL rules for the State. Might help some.

Ugh. Mailed everything Friday a week ago. DPS website says they're still waiting on receipt of my materials.
Re: waiting...waiting...waiting...
13 days passed for mine from the time it was received at the mail room until it showed up online as being processed. Now I'm in the background under review time frame, which is about another 10 or so days.

Your sig reads almost just like my time frame!

Mailed 2/29/12
Updated on DPS site 3/15/12!!
My wife and I mailed ours on the same day, but her info was on DPS site on 3/8

Re: waiting...waiting...waiting...
Good to see I'm still in a normal time frame that other people see. I was starting to wonder if it got lost in the mail.

Re: waiting...waiting...waiting...
Mine took 14 days to my first status update. Welcome to the waiting room.
I have been doing a lot of reading. Going to gun show this weekend to see if I can figure out what I want for my EDC and look at some holsters.
Hubby only has holsters for his 1911.

My background review took about 20 days. Felt like forever.
Have fun at the gun show, I think I may hit ours too. I still need to find a holster I like.
