KR Training

Post by glockoneniner »

Hey folks,
New to CHL (great forum, BTW). Wanted to solicit some feedback on KR Training, if I may. I signed up for a February class. While they're easily the most expensive in the Austin area I was impressed with the discussion I had with one of the owners.

Any feedback will be much appreciated. Thank you.

I took my CHL class thru KR training. It's not at the KR training facility but at Mr. Schaifer's (sp?) ranch (I guess that's the best description). He mentioned that students are welcome to shoot free at his ranch/range just make an appointment or something. If he weren't so far away, I might take him up on the offer since you can draw, move, etc. (which no range allows it here in Austin). My experience there was ok.

My wife took her class at Red's, and she thought it was ok too. (I would've taken it at Red's except that they were full at the time.)

Expensive???

I thought Karl was real reasonable, especially compared to other big name schools.

He is easily one of the better schools. I'd train with him again in a minute.

I just wish he was closer ;-)

Wish I could afford more training.
