New toy!! Beretta U22 Neos

Sold my Ruger 22/45 to fund a new 22. My wife couldn't really shoot or manipulate the controls on my Ruger so I've been looking for something with a longer barrel and easier grip for her. Took her to Bass Pro and had her try them all out and the Beretta was the one she liked. Just finished cleaning and lubricating everything and should be able to get to the range on Sunday or Monday.
First impressions...
1) the trigger has quite a bit of takeup and long, gritty creep. I'll see how much that will affect my shooting but I don't think it will make much of a difference to my wife.
2) Rough tooling on the wear surfaces but only shooting it will tell me if that makes much of a difference.
3) Kinda feels like a pellet gun in terms of fit and finish.
I read a bit up on it before I bought it and it seems like people generally like the pistol. I've found a write up on how to do a trigger job on it but I'm going to leave it alone for a while. It meets my price point and more importantly the wife likes how it fits her hand so I might be able to get her to the range more often...
