If I recall, they were in Plano but I don't think they are in business anymore, at least not where they used to be located.

IIRC, they had a fire which put them out of business.

Yeah I bought my Glock there years ago and was very happy with their service. I tried to find them more recently and heard the same story regarding a fire and they are no longer in business.

I use the barber shop right next door to where they used to be, so I used to drop in there from time to time. The fire was in August of 2004 and after that they sold out their name and stock to another dealer. (Might have been Gunmaster in Plano but I couldn't swear to it.)

Is this who you are thinking of ?

Lone Star Wholesale

Robbie has a good line of AR and 1911 pieces/parts along with completed firearms.

He can be found at pretty much all of the DFW gunshows.

I called their 214 number and talk to Robbie.. I have an appointment w/ him on Monday.. Maybe the best way is the old fashioned telephone call.

Can you pick up locally? Do they have a walk in shop? I'd like to pick up another upper soon. They seem to have good prices.

I don't know if they have a walk-in shop but Robbie sells guns on appointment in the house at least tha's the impression i got. He told me to call him Monday ( he was driving to a gunshow when I got hold of him yesterday) and he will give me directions to his house in The Colony so we could talk about prices/want/need and maybe built..Hey, age_ranger would $1,000.00 be a good price for a S&W AR15/M15 (NIB FFL Dealer) ? I saw it at AR15 and I happen to know the seller.. Hold on I will post the link..

I've always thought the best deal you could ever get is on a firearm you really like regardless of price. If you want to compare prices, check out http://www.gunbroker.com and see what they're going for. That will give you a good ballpark on price. There's always a deal somewhere. Personally, I'd build my own for around $600ish, but if the M&P (sweet rifle, by the way) is what you want, go for it!!!!!!

on that rifle.......I don't think i'd spend the extra money to get it just because the serial number is 00666. I'd pass on it for that reason too.
