Wisconsin issues 100,000 concealed carry permits

MADISON (WSAU) Wisconsin will print its 100-thousandth concealed weapons’ permit this morning.

Attorney General J-B Van Hollen will mark the occasion by holding a news conference while the document is being printed.

It was last November when Wisconsin became the second-to-last state to allow law-abiding citizens to carry hidden weapons with the proper permits.

WI population is 5.65 million versus TX with 24.78 million (census.gov). Multiply that 100,000 by the population ratio of 4.383 and that is the equivalent of 438,300 licenses in the first year.

I was pretty curious about that population to license there/here ratio when I posted this thread.
