Re: chronograph
I own the Chrono Beta-master. I've used it consistently over the last six-months and it performs well. the two things that impress me the most about it is its' compact-folding nature and the detached "computer/ face" portion of the chrono; I don't have to strain my eyes to see instant results.
-records up to 6- 10 string shots
-calculates the Low, High, Average FPS, Standard deviation, and extreme spread in each 10-shot string.
-sun shades for pistol/ rifle and shotgun
-takes one 9-volt battery.
It can be tempermental at times (error messages) but I used it in direct sunlight and in shade; it performs well. Not only that, but I can attest to its' construction and ability to handle direct shots (unfortunately). I taped-up the photo cells and straightened the metal body/ rods- and it works fine (detachable face is worth the extra bucks).
