I currently live outside Lufkin, TX. I am an 8 year USMC Veteran, serving in Iraq and Afganistan. I currently work as a Security Contractor, having just got home from a 9 month contract overseas. I work as a trainer with our new operators in Combatives and Combat Pistol. I like to help people learn, so if there are any questions the members have, send them my way.

I just realized on my Intro, I did not give all my info, sorry--I am new to forums as a whole.

Carry gun: SA XD .45ACP Hi-Cap Service Model or STI Ranger II 1911
Holster: Blade-Tech UCH IWB or Wilderness Zip Slide
Back-up gun: Taurus CIA .357 Mag 2" Snubbie
BUG Holster: Galco Ankle Rig, Nemesis Pocket Holster or Belly Band
Emerson Commander Folder
Surefire E2D

This is my tried and proven gear when carrying concealed. I often carry both my XD or my Ranger II on detail, sometimes both. I try to have my BUG on me 24/7, in a belly band or pocket holster. I have alot of different knives (folder and fixed) and several flashlights for detail work, however, I typically always have my Emerson and Surefire with me.

I am a gear junkie, so if anyone needs opinions on anything--I have probally used it or know someone who owns it or has used it.

Please help the wounded store owner who fought off 3 robbers. He doesn't have medical insurance.

Welcome Ranger. And I also would like to thank you for your service.

I'm sure we can learn from your experience and maybe you can learn something from some of those here.

Hi, Ranger.
The last train out of any station will not be filled with nice people.

Welcome Ranger. It's good to see another former service member on the forum. There is a great wealth of knowledge here. Looking forward to your practical input.
