My Sig P239 has been extremely reliable. In fact, my gun is in pristine condition except for the scratch on the slide from a class where we had to simulate clearing a failure to feed.glbedd53 wrote:All I can speak for is my own experience. I can believe that on average maybe Glocks are more reliable than 1911s. At least out of the box. My experience has been the opposite. If I had to pick a handgun for reliability from the ones I own it would be a Sig. I only have two guns that have never had a "malfunction", and they are both Sigs.

Clearing a "stovepipe". It's really not that bad, but it was like getting the first scratch on a new car.tomtexan wrote:How did it get scratched WildBill?
