Camera Holster

What looks like a gun holster to hold a camera.
Wow! What a great idea. Look like you're armed, but your not. What could possibly be the downside to that?

common way to carry a camera around. has been for ever. that "holster" is 3-4" wide. some are even bigger. If one were to put a gun in there it would still be less oblivious then a fanny pack

I was thinking the very same thing. Everyone thinks you're armed and then when you need to be ... you're not. Kinda like that guy that got some really great photos of a Grizzly, but got eaten.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Kinda like wearing a Superman outfit. It might look good, but doesn't help if they start shooting at you.
