I love the comment of edzzup:
Reading the article is seem to me Mr. Davis basically said it doesn't work.
As someone who carries and fires handguns routinely, I concur with Mr. Davis in that I want as many gangstas as possible to adopt this shooting style.

Reading the article is seem to me Mr. Davis basically said it doesn't work.
'In theory this works, but in practice you can't accurately measure movement left or right and you have absolutely no way of knowing if the weapon is tilted down below your field of vision from the back of the weapon.
'This means that you never actually take the same shot twice since you are never actually aiming the same way.'
This, Mr Davis adds, shows that there is in fact a rational method behind why gangsters aim their weapon side on. However, it's not a particularly good method

Re: Come on Man, Gimme a Break
Actually "saggin" is a well-known defensive tactic that has been proven to save gangstas' lives during shoot-outs. "Saggin" changes the perceived COM of the gansta, so LEOs tend to shoot low and hit fewer vital organs.Jim Beaux wrote:I guess the next baloney article will justify saggin

Why are all the bad guys perceived as these punk rocker \ biker cliche with head bands and mohawks? I thought that era was done and over with in the 80's? Even the mysterious man in the hoodie with sun glasses is really starting to irk me.
They should just do an average Joe who has a 'menacing' look on his face. Nothing more. Stupid Hollywood.

The Hollywood Bad Guy de jour had changed over the years from motorcycle gangs to juvenile delinquents to mafia gangsters to communists to drug dealers to corporate BGs to terrorists to religious cults to drug cartels, etc.68Charger wrote:Why are all the bad guys perceived as these punk rocker \ biker cliche with head bands and mohawks? Wasn't it "proven" by Jack Weaver and company that actually using your sights dramatically increases your chances of hitting what you are aiming at? I know that the Telegraph is kind of a tabloidish paper/website, but still amazing they couldn't find anything better to make an article about.
