Re: Texas Gun Forums....
why would you need any others? this group is the best...I'm not just saying that because we're on it, but seriously, this group treats people better than any other group...just look around...it's a group of caring individuals, who have a common interest and know alot about that interest.

Re: Texas Gun Forums....
I used to visit thehighroad.org forums, they are not Texas Specific are a pretty interesting forum for firearms. I stopped going because the moderators are power tripping authoritarians. They will shut down a thread if its even remotely similar to a discussion that was had ANY time in the past. If you get even remotely off topic your posts get deleted or they just lock the whole thread.
But check it out. There are some interesting discussions. I read there sometimes but i never post anymore.
Compared to there the moderators here to pretty much awesome, easygoing guys.

I love to shop the gun forums. Someone is always putting up something I like.
Plus, I love to expose myself to more firearms. I have already admitted my addiction, I am now simply feeding it.
I will surf the TexasHuntingForum (great place if you need field guns/equipment), like to peruse Texas Gun Trader, and looking to learn a few others. I prefer Texas forums, because I know that Texans have a lot of firearms, and if there is a competition or meet-n-greet, I could participate.
This has nothing to do with TxCHLForum. Yes, this is a great forum and I have several friends here.
I am just looking to expand my horizons. Heheh.

Although I no longer live in Texas and Texas law is no longer relevant to my day-to-day carry, but I still frequent this site for general firearm information almost daily! The candid discussions by all the insightful members, the focus on furthering 2A causes, and our moderators make this forum second to none.

I like to stay either in Texas forums or type-specific.

Re: Texas Gun Forums....
For competition information in North Texas, dfwshooters.org is hard to beat.
Firearms, etc for sale, this is the place for a mixture of everything.
Brianenos.com is very good but competition oriented and world wide.
And, the others mentioned already are good.

Texas Hunting Forum is a good one.
They have a good classified ads section. Some interesting items for sale. Everything from bird dogs to guns.

Guns are like parachutes, if your ever in a situation that you need one and you dont have one, you'll probably never need one again.

Re: Texas Gun Forums....
I haven't found one that has members and moderators of the quality of TXCHL. Most other forums will bombard you with ad's... which I do not like. (Thank you Chas!)
