What do you know about Tikka T3 rifles?

Post by FAAPOD »

A friend of mine is considering the purchase of a used Tikka T3 in .270. I don't know anything about the brand, so I told him I'd ask around on a couple of the forums that I frequent.

I'd like some feedback from any of you that have experience with these rifles.

TIA...

I own one in 300wsm & it is excellent quality. Made by Sako & is excellent trigger right out of the box.

I would love to find one in 308.
If he is a 270 fan he will not find a better one. Folks buy those to keep.

That is my feed back
YMMV.

My brother has one in .308 which he likes. Don't think he has shot it out further than 300 yds yet.

I've had myT3 .308 for a while. Very accurate (3/4 MOA@ 100 yds) and definitely a deer exterminator (x3). I did replace the stock with a Bell and Carlson Medalist Rifle Stock.
