Privacy invader and drug user against assault weapons

Post by A-R »

Just posting this for the laughs.

An admitted user of illegal drugs (Willie Nelson) and a Brit twit accused of participating in illegal phone tapping of newspaper story subjects (Piers Morgan) don't understand why we want to own assault weapons

I dont think piers morgan should be talking about American issues in anyway. If he doesn't understand why WE want assault weapons then he is free to leave ARE country at anytime. :patriot:

Semantics, I know but I thought we couldn't own assault weapons already, excepting FFL.

First they have to tell us what they define as an "assault weapon."

Assault rifles, properly defined as: select fire; medium caliber; are already strictly regulated, but nobody knows what an "assault weapon" is.

I would just tell them in a "matter-of-fact" tone, that, "It's already illegal to use weapons for assault." And depending how the discussion was going, I might add "Do you want to make murder illegal too?" in a funny voice. :biggrinjester:

Then you are mistaken. You may own pre 1986 made/registered assault weapons as a civilian. Be prepared to pay though......
