Tennessee Considers Training And Arming Schoolteachers To Protect Against Shootings

http://news.yahoo.com/tennessee-conside ... itics.html

Anyone want to bet no one in Austin will push for the same here, heck just remove the prohibition on carry anwhere an LEO can then let's see who can guess which of the states residents are among the 450,000 that just might be armed on anygiven day.I know quite a few that would suprise the heck out of someone stupid enough to test them by trying that scenerio where they might be if they had their weapon with them.

The State paying CHL instructors to teach teachers .... good idea; I'd like my taxes to go for that instead of ...

Another news story on Texas gun shop/disabled vet offering the free CHL class to Teachers

@MichelleObama @BarackObama In response to your call to action to do something to prevent such tragedies, Texas and Tennessee are introducing bills to allow teachers to be armed, as they should have been in Conn.

Tenn. might pay for arming/Training and a Texas Disabled Vet is offered to train Teachers for licensing for free.

I'll take that bet. Rep Jason Villalba is getting ready to file a bill to allow teachers to carry.
In response to last week's Connecticut school shooting, state Rep. Jason Villalba, R-Dallas, says he will file legislation to allow public school teachers to carry concealed weapons while on campus.
