We are triple taxed (federally)

Post by APynckel »

I just want everyone's input. Here is how I view it...

1) Income tax (FICA and Fed W/H)
2) Corporate Taxes; trickle down to the consumer (sales tax)
3) The Fed; Prints dollars, stealing wealth from the dollars you have earned and saved, through inflation

Thoughts?

Did you leave out the 18.4 cents we give our Uncle Sam for every gallon of gasoline that we buy?

Unearned income i.e. interest on savings; capital gains on investments

Death tax on estates 55%. If you have a house, car, land and other property worth $1mil+

You also left off the social security 3.2% and Medicare 2 something % for the employee portion, the employer pays the other portion, which comes from his bottom line.

Oh you think that is bad. I am in NY for a couple of months. Sweet Jesus! Gas prices go up a good 50 cents when you cross over from NJ. It's Almost 80 cents more then what it is in TX. I can't wait to get back. Stupid libtard state :grumble . Overall I am pretty liberal on a lot of social issues, but being up here makes me feel like I am red to the core by comparison.
