My letter to Protect our 2ndA

With the recent drive by liberals and anti-gun fanatics to promote a new
federal law that restricts our 2ndA right and ban semi-automatic rifles, I
am compelled to write to you to express my deep concern that any such law
would infringe on our personal right of using such firearms in competitive
sport shooting. There are hundred thousands, if not millions, of US
citizens like myself who regularly participate in competitive sport
shooting using semi-auto modern rifles.

I do sincerely ask you to consider the core cause for the misuse of said
firearms by mentally deranged and irresponsible persons, mainly, the lack
of treatment and/or the overexposure of said persons to Hollywood movies
and video games that push the extreme violence as "Entertainment".

Protecting our constitutional right is the duty of any sworn Federal
official.
