NRA was right: Obama Coming After Our Guns

Post by VMI77 »

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing- ... es-in-2013
“I've been very clear that an assault rifle ban, banning these high capacity clips, background checks, that there are a set of issues that I have historically supported and will continue to support,” said the president.

“I'd like to get it done in the first year. I will put forward a very specific proposal based on the recommendations that Joe Biden's task force is putting together as we speak. And so this is not something that I will be putting off."
So, looks like you forum liberals voted to have your guns taken. It would be kinda funny if this wasn't so obvious and predictable, and it didn't affect the rest of us. Don't forget to register them and then turn them in a couple years from now when confiscation comes. That is also obvious and predictable since there has never been a registration that didn't end in confiscation. And your Dear Leader supports it...said so himself.

And if this mess makes it through the Republican-controlled House, in whatever shape, the NRA needs to ensure that all those who voted for it get their names called out loudly and distinctly as not supporting the Second Amendment and not giving a hoot about their constituents. Its often easy to hide fiscal matters under many guises, but voting for a monstrosity like this is blatantly obvious and no amount of deflecting rhetoric can cover it.

Guess I will go on record first.
These I will not obey.
My Dad & many others fought to preserve the Constitution.
Some died preserving it.
Others fell into Pattons catigory when he said no one ever won a war because their boys were willing to die for their country.
Win wars making the other boys (not Patton's term) die for their country. That is hard on the soldier that live over that battle.

They classed me 4F. Physically unfit for service. I have not improved much since then.
I will do the best I can though.

Considering the support for Obama among Roman Catholics, I feel the same way about the birth control kerfuffle.

Just renewed my NRA membership. I am encouraging everyone I know to do the same. The NRA can only do what we need if we are behind them. I know many have issues and concerns about the NRA, but they are our best hope to defeat what is coming. We need to put aside all that and be practical. Let's win this!

I predict one of two things will happen.

1. The republicans fail to stop the passage of new legislation for whatever reason. The pustule and his orcs will use whatever blackmail or other means is necessary and coerce the rhinos to pass the ban.

2. Another "crisis" occurs, and I do not in the least doubt that the pustule and his orcs fabricate the necessary crisis. Pustule uses executive orders and martial law or similar force to implement the ban.

Remember, the Constitution does not matter. The courts do not matter. NDAA is in effect. We are all now or will be terrorists.

Sorry to be so jaded.

I hope I am proved wrong. If I am proved right, our resolve will be severely tested.

Unless we are disarmed, the pustule and his orcs cannot complete their mission.

Due to forum rules, my respect for my brothers and sisters here, and just plain old decorum, I cannot adequately describe my thoughts on what the current federal administration is doing to our country.

In case anyone has not noticed, the pustule has no regard for anyone and cares not whether they live or die.

I only hope that by the Grace of God that when it comes down to getting dirty that I have His blessings on my response.

Thank you, LT.

That was coming before the CT massacre. Now he has needed media hype to get it done.

I rarely watch Alex Jones, but ... there is some entertainment value there. As is some old science fiction films ... like one I saw the other day ...men landing on the moon some day or flying around in outer space ...ha...pretty far fetched unbelievable stuff, but entertaining ...

I'll make a prediction. #1 may or may not happen....I'm inclined to think it will be stopped by the Republicans this time. However, #2 is definitely going to happen no matter what. If #1 doesn't happen, it will be to make #1 happen. If #1 does happen it will be to take the next step: confiscation. The left has the guy in place they need to get their way, and they're not going to let this opportunity pass and risk a turn around.
