60k rounds or more. I have lost count. I have been "hoarding" for about five years now. During the last threat like this I went ahead and let go of a few of my AK's and an AR or two... At extreme profits i might add. Not this time. I am genuinely afraid scarcity might be for real this time. :mad5

Made the decision about 6 months ago that I will never sell another firearm. Working on the ammo stock pile but I'm a little behind you.

Don't store it all in one place.

Depending on caliber, I'd be happy to help you store some of it!! :coolgleamA:

Man and I thought I had a stash going  . After the bills, wife and kids my ammo buget is rather small but I buy what I can.

I was planning to sell some of my ammo until the latest shooting. I think I'm going to hang on to what I have for awhile.

My wife just gave me the okay to buy $6k worth of goodies. Hopefully the site is accurate about inventory. And now she's happy I'm a hoarder

You're well ahead of me. But I've got about 2K of 5.56 on hand and about 500 of .308, and about 1K each of 9mm & .45. I'm kicking myself for not having hoarded it up like you did, but if this situation ever calms down a bit, you can take it to the bank that I sure will. The one thing I'm still low on is reloading supplies. I've got a few thousand large and small rifle primers and a ton of brass, but I've only got about 9-10 lb of rifle powders on hand, and only 400 or so .308 bullets in varying weights, and maybe a couple of hundred .224 bullets. So I'm going to be stocking up on reloading components ASAP too.

I have all the proper tools and equipment to reload. Years ago I loved to reload. As life got busier for me I just quit doing it. Reading your post makes me think about it again. I should probably stock up on powder, primers and bullets. I have plenty of brass. It may be too late for this move already. I haven't checked yet. I am amazed by the shortages in common ammo I am seeing on the web sellers sights. The prices being asked are double and triple what I paid for the ammo I already have on hand. :mad5

I have only started stocking up within the last three months. I wish I would have started earlier. I don't plan to ever have as much as you do, but I would feel better having about 3-5k on hand.
