Sorry, my phone won't do links.

Found this very interesting. This was before I was even born, and yet the language, the false promises, and the problems are still the same. If anything, the problem of crimes committed with guna is worse in a lot of ways.

"The Government has done all of this"
"Government has done this"
"We have done this"

The Government can help protect its citizens against the random and the reckless violence of crime at gun point.

We have come here to the Cabinet Room today to sign the most comprehensive gun control law ever signed in this Nation's history.
(but they haven't armed all citizens like Switzerland does with low crime rate)

#Inasnity=doing same thing repeatedly again, but expecting different results #guncontrol

"If the criminal with a gun is to be tracked down quickly, then we must have registration in this country."

so fallacy in logic isn't something new. it's at least 44 years old. :banghead:

Dear criminal, please leave serial number of the stolen gun you used ... wait no, that won't help ... A stolen gun and the gun wasn't left behind for use to get a useless number that doesn't trackback to the criminal anyway, but to a law abiding purchaser/victim from whom it was stolen ... hmmm /// :headscratch just leave your name and address on slip of paper at crime scene, thanks.
