Glock 27 4th gen question??
Hello, does anyone else have a Glock 27 4th gen with the tungsten guide rod? Well, did you have or still have and breaking in problem? As in, the slide is a work out just to pull the slide back. So far, I have put about 300-400 rounds through it, and this rod is still a pain to pull back. I also have a Glock 19 4th gen with tungsten and its about 600-800 rounds through it. Well, the 19 is nothing to pull back. I'm thinking it has to be much harder due to the 27 is a sub compact.

Re: Glock 27 4th gen question??
When we were buying my wife's 26, we looked hard for a new gen 3 because she found the gen 4 to difficult also. She really liked my gen 3 19. Even still, the gen 3 (26) is harder to pull back than the 19, but its loosening more and more with each mag she fires.x007x wrote:Hello, does anyone else have a Glock 27 4th gen with the tungsten guide rod? Shorter spring means stiffer spring.
Also, Gen4 sub compacts use the same double recoil spring as the Gen3 sub compacts do.

The .40 spring and 9mm spring are probably the same. That's why conversion barrels work fine without changing springs. The shorter barrel models use a stiffer spring.
