Howdy all,
I'm shopping for a gun vise, as I'm sick of wrestling with my long guns to clean, etc. Academy has a Tipton vise for $45; anyone have experience with it, or other suggestions? Willing to pay up to around $100 if it buys me something much better.

I have one that does fine for me. Probably the one you saw at Academy. I adapted it a little for ARs. If you're just doing light work ...cleaning, mounting optics, accessories it should work fine.
