I Found Ammo - Houston Westchase Area

Post by Vol Texan »

I know there's been a heckuva ammo shortage lately, but I stopped in my favorite LGS today and found their shelves full.

Yeah, the price is still high (supply and demand, ya know?), but you'll find what you want at Defensive & Concealed Guns on Memorial Drive.

I don't have much of a price point to compare against - since I never shop the big stores for guns or ammo. I only buy from the local stores because I figure they need our support.
Your best option for personal security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.
When those fail, aim for center mass.

Thanks for the shout-out.
Yes, we have plenty of 9MM and .22 High velocity in stock.
We also have 5.7X28, 7.62X39, 5.56, 5.45X39

We also have an Arsenal AK and an FN Scar.

We don't gouge prices on ammo but we are paying a premium to be able to stock it.

Ahh, sorry about that! When I wrote that the price is still high, that's because of the price the LGS are paying. (Sorry if I made it sound like you jacked the price up - I understand fully it's from the manufacturers!)

No problem. Since we are forced to purchase from alternative sources, we are paying double the price.
Most people are just glad to find it...myself included.
