My daughter and I got it out to the range today. It shot pretty good right outta the box. I tried to make one slight adjustment of the rear sight upward, but couldn't turn the screw with the jewelers screwdriver I had. Although, I might have turned it a little because my shots came up a little. After that my shots were an inch or so to the left at about 7 yards. I think that was more my issue, though, than the gun's. My daughter liked it very much. Most of her shots were to the right. Some were in the bulls-eye and slightly left, but most were to the right. I think she's gripping the gun to tightly and she's rushing. I made her slow down and count to at least 3 between shots and she was more consistent, but still a little right. When I would whisper to her to lighten her grip she would put the 2 shots in the bulls-eye, but then tighten again and drift right.
There were a couple of FTFs, but they were when my daughter was using it and was rushing loading the first round after inserting the magazine. On it's own, there were no malfunctions. We put about 300 rounds through it today.
We're going to put a little dab of white paint on the front sight and I'll take a screwdriver with a better handle next time and we'll see how it does. So far, we are both very happy with it.
