Night Vision binoculars

Post by baldeagle »

Does anyone own one of these? If so, what do you think of them? I'm thinking about getting a pair to use for night hog hunting. I don't want a scope. Waaaaaayyyyyy outside my price range. But the binoculars might be good for spotting hogs from a distance. Then I could work my way in closer and take the shot.

I used to own a pair of Bushnell NV binoculars w/ Gen1 rectifiers. They were good, but I think a monocular would be better for the money. I was never able to properly judge distance with them which is the main reason I chose binoculars and spent the extra $$$.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?
