- 3 Speed Holster system
Received on Monday 4/8 Use with Ruger SR40C (9 round magazine in gun, extended 15 round in carrier pocket). Wearing around the house and neighborhood till it breaks in. Material holds gun very well. I wear it just below beltine in either jeans (Belt not necessary)or in drawstring shorts, (Shirts not tucked in) Need to draw more so thumb groove becomes more pronounced and quick easy draw is possible. Velcro holds very well and does not have to be worn tight (Just snug enough). not everyones cup of tea, but It seems to be just what i wanted. Next week will take it out shopping, time to get out of comfort zone. BTW Not my wife or any neighbors have noticed me wearing it.
I will report next week, i think i can live with this. I was also thinking of the Remora clipless holster, right now for April they have sort of a twofer. You spend at least $34.95 and they will send you a basic reinforced model of same holster. Remora was another simple system i looked at, and at that price might just buy one also.
