Heads up...Airport security in Dallas

Post by AV8R »

It seems that the deception/distraction initiatives highlighted by the recent "Flying Imam" scare may have come to Texas. Two Texas Muslim females have been detained for apparent intelligence-gathering activities at Dallas LUV. One has been involved in a "road rage" incident involving a de-milled grenade. Both have issues with the "government".

This is an area where our threat-recognition skills can be put to good use. And remember the Alamo.

Edited to add: And remember the Fiesta Al-Andalus, as well.

I have seen a more detailed report on this, and I believe the woman is not only testing the response of officials, but she is trying to get a reaction that would be over the top or abusive so as to file suit.

Agreed, I believe that the "Flying Imam" scammers are going to start popping up all over the place. By the way, I'm available for jury duty.

Yeah, that de-milled grenade made for a fun day at the office for me. I'd like to see her locked up. I doubt I be picked for her jury though.

Not the first at Love, and I'm sure not the last. I don't think I'm supposed to talk about them. I could tell you tales about other airports too.

Also there was more in that car than a De-milled grenade. Though I do not think anything technically illegal for her to possess.

Let's see . . . line up a lawyer, act suspiciously, but don't do anything that actually violates the letter of the law . . . sort of like the Sheikhs on a Plane scam in Minneapolis.

When you're questioned, detained, removed from a flight, etc., have CAIR and your lawyer jump up and down and prattle on about profiling, discrimination, religious freedom, etc.

Threaten or file lawsuits against everyone remotely connected, INCLUDING those bystanders who report your aberrant behavior to authorities.

Sounds like two things - a scam to shake people down for $$, and a way to force a reduction in security, paving the way for real terrorists.

Nothing to see here people...Move along...Move along...

yawn...

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

BTW, I hear de-mil'ed grenades make great paper weights...And conversation pieces... ;-)

And we all wonder why old grandmothers and children get the Nth degree times a million more than someone obiously probing security...

This stuff has been going on for years...Either we are not doing anything about this obvious intelligence gathering, or we are pinning the tail on the donkey and seeing where and who some of these folks party with...

We will never know how deep this rabbit hole goes I am afraid...But I have a good idea...

As a pilot for a major U.S. airline based here in Texas, I know there have been countless reports of Arabs scouting airports and aircraft to try to determine security procedures and response for many years since 9/11.

What really scares me is after this recent incident with U.S. Airways, some passengers and airline crew are going to think twice before getting involved with suspicious passengers because of fear of law suits.

All I know is I won't be conned into thinking this way. I would rather be sued than killed.

Ya know, I wanted to ask... I live in Irving... I think I've seen one around from time to time; I would have never have guessed. But anyway, one of them women is apparently handy with a rifle and shoots regularly at a range in Ft. Worth...Alpine something or other. Wondered if anyone from ran into her and what kind of insight into her personality you might have.

And to think, my wife and I moved from New Jersey last year. She was not to far away from WTC on the that day and stuck in NY much of the day -- very hectic. One of the things we thought about when we moved here was we'd never here about things like that down here....

Looking at that photo more closely, I have seen the first one in the picture at Love Field, the one in black with the scarf.

And I was watching her closely. Bad Juju
