Is it legal to eat at a bar of a restauant?
Say I walk into a restaurant that serves alcoholic beverages and has a bar (Bennigens, Chilis, Applebees) and all the tables are taken up. Is it legal for me to sit at the bar and eat (but not drink) while carrying a gun?
I was told that I was okay if I ever ate in the bar area as long as I was drinking iced tea.
Just wanted a second opinion.

Nothing prevents you from drinking.Doug.38PR wrote:I was told that I was okay if I ever ate in the bar area as long as I was drinking iced tea.
However, there is no set level of intoxication specified.
For me, that mean's abstaining. Of course, I'm always driving so I couldn't drink anyway.

Texas Penal Code
