I went to the Alamodome Saturday for the George Strait concert. They had 30.06 signs posted and metal detectors in use. I've been in the Alamodome several times for sporting events and knew I couldn't carry at those events. no metal detectors before. But I never noticed the signs before. Has the Alamodome always been no carry or was I just not paying attention.

Is that not city owned?
Good grief do I hope they pass the legislation that would fight these city governments and their invalid posting of 30.06.

Then it's one of those times where you should be ok to carry, but get ready to "beat the rap but not the ride".
Please pass HB508!!!

It's been about a year and a half since I was there last, but there weren't any signs.

Have been going to spurs games there all the time for years now and have always saw them on the front doors by every entrance. Police were always present which made me happy considering I'm not a fan of that side of town or area.

And it appears HB508 is virtually dead due to a rider that would give politicians more flexibility on where they can carry compared to the regular citizen...
So, it's up to SB16 to pass and cover this area where municipalities are unjustly pressuring citizens into disarming.
