That is one beautiful firearm. I refer to the older pistols as 100 year guns, knowing they will last well over 100 years. I have my father’s Colt Model 357 and his Colt Super 38 both manufactured in 1956 with original box and probably less than 100 rounds fired out of each Colt. The Colt in your picture will still be around long after we are gone.

And to add, the photo is real nice, the red wood chips make for a nice picture. Much better than a bed sheet or bath towel background. :tiphat:

Very nice! My father had a couple of E frame Officer's Model Match 1 in .38 and 1 in .22, sweet revolvers. You can use I frame grips, if you want to dress it up a little.

This is a picture of my father shooting his 38 Special Colt Officers Model in 1951 when we lived in El Paso. I still have it.
