10mm Magnum
I ordered 10mm auto brass from midway a while back and they sent me 10mm mag. I had no idea that cartridge even existed. Anyone shoot with, reload or have a gun that fires the cartridge?
Re: 10mm Magnum
Let Midway know of the error. They're usually pretty good about fixing mistakes.
Out of curiosity, how does this 10mm Magnum differ from 10mm Auto?
::Edited to add:: I just looked up the 10mm Magnum. Looks like it's the 10mm Auto, but lengthened, I guess for use in bored-out S&W 610 revolvers. I really can't think of any other kind of handgun where a cartridge that long would be practical, or even feasible. I'd guess it'd make an awesome round for a rifle, though... just think, an M1 Carbine chambered for this!
So, looks kinda like a dead / specialty cartridge. Pity. /end edit

Re: 10mm Magnum
Those were my same thoughts. It was significantly longer than the 10mm auto. Much greater than the ~ 1/10" difference between .38/.357 and .44 special/mag. The casings were really impressive, I must say. I wanted to keep one as a keepsake but I placed it back with the others. My box was mislabeled as 10mm auto and the headstamps were mag so I returned them.
