Tyler TX Open Carry Walk

This morning about 300 Patriots from the Tyler area strapped on our long guns and walked around downtown to show our support of the 2nd Amendment and to educate the public that guns aren't bad or scary. There were hunting rifles, shotguns, AR's, M1's, and even Airsofts and Nerf guns! It was a completely safe and honorable display and one that made me proud to be a Texan and an American. We had full support of our local sheriff and PD--they blocked traffic so that we could cross streets...even though there was no parade route. I think they were nervous, but the were smiling and friendly the whole time. God Bless America!

Absolutely awesome! Wish I were closer to Tyler and I would have been happy and proud to join you. Nice to see, too, that both Tyler PD and the sheriff's department handled it all with the utmost professionalism.

Thanks for demonstrating your true American patriotism on this, the most patriotic of all days!
