Scope cleaning
Any simple way to clean a scope? I have an original redfield and it's kind of gunky after 40+ years of use. What is the most efficient and practical way to clean these things without damaging them?

What needs cleaning? If it's the lens then use a can of compressed air, a soft lens brush and a lens tissue moistened with a little alcohol. The pre moistened ones you buy at an eye glasses shop will do fine. If it is mechanical I would contact the manufacturer or look for an optics repair business.

Like MoJo said, if it's just the lens you can use these:

They work great. I use them every day on my glasses.
