Discuss among yourselves.HOUSTON – A man filed a civil lawsuit against his former employer after he said he was tortured and humiliated in front of co-workers and customers for nine months.
Bradley Jones, 45, worked at Fred Fincher Motors for more than four years.
He said for the last nine months, his fellow employees began sneaking up on him and hitting him with a stun gun.
He said it happened at least two dozen times and each incident left him more on edge.

Re: Tazed by Co-Workers

Once or twice is funny and not a big deal...but if this happened more than a couple of times, it crossed the line . I love a good practical joke as much as anyone, but they can go too far. If he ever complained to his supervisor about harassment, he may have a case.

Wouldn't even once be assault?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Horseplay, at the least and horseplay; especially of this nature {if true}, should not be tolerated. Sue their britches off and name names.

Did anyone else laugh?
Re: Tazed by Co-Workers
The second time, he should have called 911 to report the assault. Tolerating it for nine months sends a different message. One that won't work in his favor if I'm on the civil jury.

I wonder how many videos of him pulling "practical jokes" on others will be shown in the courtroom. May be more than one side of the story.

Re: Tazed by Co-Workers
i had a coworker bring his new airsoft gun to work to show it off. One guy was shooting stuff with it in our office. When he pointed it at me I told him I would report him to building security if he did that again or shot me with it.
We worked at a hospital in the medical center and a lot of our security was off duty HPD.
I would not tolerate someone tasing me for any reason. That doesnt look like it only hurts a little bit. Their is enough power in those to stop someones heart. what would you do then?

I can't believe anyone would tolerate that much abuse for that long a time period.
We're not getting the complete story.

Would the police arrest the guy? Would the DA prosecute? In many cases, street justice would be more effective.

Re: Tazed by Co-Workers
Years ago I worked at a place where a guy was a big practical joker. Nothing violent. Borderline criminal mischief and harassment. Not stuff the police are really interested in. Anyway, one day two dozen pizzas were delivered to work, prepaid. The next day it was BBQ. A week later, more pizza. Well, it turned out the food was ordered with his company credit card. Because it wasn't an approved expense, management wouldn't pay. He fumed for a while but didn't get much sympathy and nobody ever admitted to the counter-pranks.

Have y'all thought that maybe the tazee was somehow, or other, "challenged"; e.g., 'hire the handicapped'?
Re: Tazed by Co-Workers
Taze me......ONCE......and when I get up someone is getting the butt kicking they have coming!
Have you ever been tazed? It hurts. It's not funny. And I hope the guy ends up owning the dealership!
