Why would any parent want (correction) permit their kids to go to this “college”?

UNT has a free speech square. You have to a make reservation and be approved to use it.

That was my initial reaction too. I don't go there, but my girlfriend does. She has to walk by it on her way to class. I've seen it once. It's a little box about 2 square feet that you have to stand in.TheCytochromeC wrote:

They USED to have that. Not any more. A lot of schools have revised or eliminated those policies, often after being sued, or receiving massive negative press. That's nice, but apparently the majority of the students didn't get the memo. I have had a few friends go to UNT since 2009. They have all told me that during their time there, people were still using the squares, and still had to get approval. Maybe they reversed their decision.K.Mooneyham wrote:They USED to have that.
