Seeing a citizen or leo with a gun take him out would make a good video

That sure is a sweet looking AR15. :banghead:
Given that one of the first "witnesses" the media got hold of stated the shooter had an "AR15", I guess I have been misidentifying a number of items in my safe for some time now.

It has been reported that he made his way in with the shotgun and THEN retrieved an M-16/AR-15 as well as a handgun from the first couple of people he killed.

I believe those reports have been refuted.

Link debunking AR claim
"FBI Assistant Director Valerie Parlave said at a press briefing on Tuesday that Alexis used a shotgun in the rampage in which 12 were killed, not an assault rifle, as many news outlets and gun-control advocates had reported.
"We have no information that he had an AR-15 assault rifle in his possession," Parlave said. "He may have gained access to a handgun ... after he began shooting.""
The false reports more than likely were a result of incorrect information provided by the "eyewitness" I previously referred to.

Weren't the compulsive liars saying he had a semiautomatic rifle based on the victims' wounds?

Edit: Looks like they just said "semi-automatic gun" but still

I like how an FBI assistant director keeps saying assault rifle.

Ah, another Sandy Hook weapons inventory then. Thanks for the correction.

This, unfortunately applies more often then I'd like to think about:
