Vet Trip

Post by DSARGE »

Tooke the heatherns for thier annual checkup. If any of you have seen "The Dog Whisperer", I have that X2--a Blue Heeler and a Catahoula who are spoiled beyond belief. Well we took the Heeler back to the back and got him muzzled up and cinched down for his shot. We had to wrestle with him a bit, and I was holding the head. It was quite an ordeal. Unknown to me, my shirt rode up and my piece was showing. The vet jokingly said "I'm glad it didn't come down to that".
I found the Lord again--although he never lost me!

Although I was very happy with our previous vet, he saved the life of my Lab puppy when she had Parvo, the day he told me he was "afraid of guns" and wouldn't even talk with me about it, I fired him and let him know why.

Of course I had a replacement lined up, a vet that I shot IDPA with. We spend a portion of every vet visit talking about guns.
