:thumbs2: One reason I suggested a gun show is to save on shipping for powder, primers and bullets for the small quantities you want to buy.
You may want to research an alternative powder if you can find the Hogdon.

It's been so long since I have bought these items, I really couldn't even guess. Be prepared to pay more that internet/bulk prices.

Powder is $26 on line, but out of stock.
Primers $35/1000
Bullets $38/100

My local Academy and WalMart have the primers but you have to ask for them. Go to http://www.gunbot.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to see what is available. Can't believe that the shortage has lasted so long.

If you completely strike out on everything let me know. I have the primers and those specific bullets in my stock.

And why exactly are those things in my stock? BECAUSE THERE'S NO POWDER ANYWHERE TO SHOOT THEM WITH :banghead:

I check the online outlets almost daily and so far over the last 12 months I've managed to score 10lbs of H335 back in March and just scored 7lbs of 2400 yesterday...but that's it and if you aren't looking at the website in that magic lucky 10 minutes it stays in stock, you're out of luck. Bullets are getting better. You can find things in the caliber you want but rarely in the weight, shape or brand you want.

Last time I was at Cabelas (2+months ago) they had primers of all types but limited you to 1 box total. Bass Pro in Grapevine has been surprising at times, having primers and useful bullets, but their prices are higher. No one has powder anywhere though, online or brick and mortar, in my experience.

With gunbot and some google-foo powers, I was able to order
HERL171 HERL171 RELODER 17 1LB $20.50 20.50 1 20.50
S2200 S2200 Sierra Bullets 30cal {.308} 168gr HPBT Match Box of 100 $29.50 29.50 1 29.50
SBLR SBLR Sellier & Bellot Large Rifle Primers $34 / 1000 34.00 1 34.00

Hazardous Materials Charge: 27.50
NRA Roundup: 0.00
Minimum Order Surcharge: 0.00
Shipping: 12.92
Sales Tax: 0.00

Total: 124.42
As you can see, I can live with shipping but I was hit with Hazmat charge!
Note: Agilant Reloader 17 should be equavilant to IMR 4350 or Hondghon 4350.

That is another reason I suggested the Gun Show.

It is a start in my rifle reloading. Let us see if my wife can live with that. So far, the resistance is manageable as long as I do not spread my reloading tools on the kitchen table. :boxing :boxing
