New 4" XDS
Anyone seen info on the new 4" XDS. Much advantage to the extra .7" or is this an attempt to move away from the negative PR over the recall of the 3.3"?

ive seen a couple videos from shot show but the only thing they harp on is that the extra length of slide and barrel add a little bit of weight reducing felt recoil and a little more accuracy. I wouldn't waste the money if you already have a 3.3! i miss my xds.45 and will pick up another one at some point! i don't need the 9 since my G26 is the only 9 i need

I will prolly pic one up eventually. I like my .45. There are other things above it on the list though.

I will give it a serious look. I would have bought the original but wanted to wait on any bugs or kinks. The 4" may add a little bit of comfort in the holster which is why I would lean that way over the original. I love my ultra size kimber in .45 but the xds is lighter and feels so much smaller.... I'll probably end up with one, either way.
