Those holes don't look big enough to be .45 holes.

Anyone who wonders why a .45 cal 200 gr LSWC round is one of the all time favorites only needs to look at the group in the lower right corner.

Agreed... :headscratch
Hello. My name is Red and I used to carry a .45. Now I carry a 9mm and it's getting easier to admit every day.

They look fine to me. It's just a photo, and you can't really tell how big the target is. If it's a little bit big, then the .45 caliber holes will look a little small. And the round nose tend to make a smaller looking hole than the nice clean wadcutter hole.

An IDPA target is 18 1/8" across, the center circle being 8 inches.

I do not believe that target was shot at 50 yards, even with a ransom. The front sight could cover how much of the target at 50 yards?

Looks like the target is resting against the tailgate of a pickup. Then again, if it is , the holes might be too big for a .45.

I don't think the front sight makes much of a difference when using the machine to test the groups.
One still has to aim the gun, no?

I'm not impressed. He completely missed the big X at the bottom. :biggrinjester:

Here is a set of real custom bullseye guns from Giles 45 Shop Odessa Florida. A 22LR High Standard Victor, 45ACP Colt and 38 Special Colt Kit Gun.

They all have excellent triggers, sights and are very very accurate.
