Apparently homeowners are taking the police chief's advice.

It's a month old, but this was interesting wording:

"The resident fired two shots hitting the victim in his chest. The juvenile intruder died."

Bout time! We lived through a home invasion. It was terrible and my mother got the brunt of it. She was the one that woke up. They were looking for guns in our home and left with my dad's wallet and glasses (why?). Home invaders need to be dealt with most harshly.
