Re: HPD Raids Wrong House
Somebody is lying big time. There is a world of difference between "officers went through her bedroom, her closets and her kitchen looking for drugs" and "officers didn't enter the home...they realized it was the wrong address, apologized and left".
Will be watching how this one turns out.

Yep, someone is lying and when Quannell X is involved, his/their version of the story is already tainted.

Our local area officers now wear cameras on their vests. If the officers involved in this case were required to do the same we would know immediately who was lying. It seems the technology exist for there to be much more transparency which would protect officers from false accusations and the public against abuse of power.

I trust Quannell X about as far as I can throw that apartment building. That said I always find it interesting that officials can't comment due to the ongoing investigation and then make a statement "the officers never entered the home". Guess that's not considered a comment by them?????????

I completely agree. I can't think of one valid reason why LEOs wouldn't want to wear cameras for their own protection.jmra wrote:Our local area officers now wear cameras on their vests. I 100% think this would be a fabulous idea. I see no reason why it cannot be implemented immediately. Perhaps instead of buying a tank that really should never be used that $$ could be used to buy cameras that would benefit all. It would clear up so much and keep EVERYONE honest.

I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Quannell X is out for only one thing, his best interest, his pocket book. The more he stays in front of the media the more hos sponsors pay him.

Oh that would make too much sense. That's not the world we live in now, is it? Doing sensible things?mamabearCali wrote:jmra wrote:Our local area officers now wear cameras on their vests. The laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.

Re: HPD Raids Wrong House
That's true...but even so, it would be pretty bold for the woman to make the statement that the officers entered the house...pointed guns at them while making them sit on the floor...as they searched the house for drugs, IF the truth was they never went in. Seems like a pretty good stretch to assume that she fabricated the whole story with the goal of trying to get a settlement...even at the prompting of Quannell X. Not impossible mind you, but unlikely. I think she's probably telling the truth, and contacted him because she knows his reputation for getting the media involved.Charles L. I'm going to wait for more info on this one. I simply can't believe the department would be dumb enough to say they didn't enter the home if they had already started tossing the place.talltex wrote:That's true...but even so, it would be pretty bold for the woman to make the statement that the officers entered the house...pointed guns at them while making them sit on the floor...as they searched the house for drugs, IF the truth was they never went in.
